Citygate Early Learning and Child Care Centre

You apply through the waitlist application form on the YWCA site, and families are placed on the waitlist once the completed form is received. Wait times run about 20 months depending on the centre, so apply well before you need the spot.

Citygate operates as a $10-a-day centre, so the monthly fee is $200 after the provincial funding reduction. That is a fraction of the regular $1,430 program fee.

Citygate serves children aged three to five, with a licensed capacity of 25 children. It sits right next to the Main Street-Science World SkyTrain station.

Yes, if your child is accepted the YWCA offers a tour of the facility your child will attend. You can also email the childcare team two months before you need the space to check your waitlist status.
