Xing Dance Theatre

Xing Dance Theatre is a dance company and studio in Toronto's Chinatown, established in 1986 by choreographer Xing Bang Fu and Simon Sylvain Lalonde. It is known for fusing classical ballet, contemporary dance, and Asian movement styles.

The studio offers adult ballet classes at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, plus stretch and flexibility classes. It also teaches classical and folk Chinese dance and provides private coaching.

Xing Dance Theatre is at 70 Huron Street at Dundas in Chinatown, after relocating there from its previous home of 35 years. The new space has two studios totalling about 2575 square feet, with Studio B featuring a sprung floor.

Xing Dance Theatre rents out its two studios for outside use. Studio A is a ground-level 1000 square foot space with floor-to-ceiling windows, and Studio B is a 1575 square foot underground studio with a sprung floor.
