Admission is by rehab referral, and fees are covered by OHIP for eligible patients. The hospital serves adults over eighteen with complex medical, cardiac, stroke, and musculoskeletal needs.

Visiting runs around the clock, seven days a week, though the entrance doors lock at nine at night for security. After-hours visitors call reception to be escorted in.

Children under twelve are welcome when accompanied by an adult who is not the patient. Each patient may have two visitors at the bedside at a time.
