Johnson Irish Dance

Johnson Irish Dance is a Toronto Irish dance school offering classes for children and adults at every skill level. Their primary studio sits at 95 Lavinia Avenue, a few blocks south of Bloor and reachable by TTC. The school runs fall, winter, and spring terms with a short summer break.

No experience is needed, and beginners are welcome in the children's introductory classes that start each semester. Joining mid-semester is possible, though starting at the beginning of a term is recommended for consistency. A free trial class is available for new dancers who want to try it first.

The school's teachers hold TCRG certification, the international credential for Irish dance teachers. The school is registered with the Irish Dance Teachers Association of Canada and the Irish Dance Teachers Association of North America. Dancers can take part in competitions, performances, and community events through the year.
