Yes, a referral is required through the Access and Assessment Centre, a physician, psychiatrist, or nurse practitioner. The team serves adults with serious and persistent mental illness.

Walk-in intake runs Fridays from 9am to 3:30pm in Suite 300 on the third floor. Intake at other VCH clinics covers the rest of the week.

The centre provides public and community health services, mental health and addiction services, speech therapy, home health, and youth health services for people of all ages. It works with community organizations and family doctors to coordinate care.

Arrive 15 minutes early for children under 2 so they can be weighed and measured first. Report any out-of-province immunization records at least 48 hours ahead, or the visit may be used for planning only.
