New patients get a thorough consultation, spinal evaluation and discussion of health goals before any adjustment. Most people receive their first gentle adjustment during that same visit when appropriate.

A standard adjustment takes about 15 to 20 minutes, while the first visit runs longer to allow for the full consultation and exam. Follow-up visits are kept efficient and focused on the planned adjustments.

Dr. Porter holds a diplomate in pediatrics through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and works with the entire family. His background as a three-time Olympic rower also shapes the clinic's sports and performance focus.
