Molkagtez

Molkagtez is a Mexican restaurant in Toronto's Parkdale neighbourhood at 1263 Queen Street West, named after the volcanic stone molcajete bowl used in traditional Mexican cooking. Its signature dish is the molcajete de carnes, a sizzling stone bowl of meats, cheeses, and vegetables brought to the table still bubbling.

The menu centers on authentic Mexican dishes including birria tacos, fresh ceviches, elote street corn, choriqueso, and a full cocktail program. Weekly events and a seasonal Halloween menu round out the offerings alongside the regular lineup.

Monday through Wednesday hours are 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Thursday hours are 5:00 PM to 11:30 PM, and Sunday hours are 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Friday hours are 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM and 12:00 AM to 1:00 AM, and Saturday hours are 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM and 12:00 AM to 2:00 AM, so weekends run late.
