Kovalsky Restaurant

Kovalsky serves Polish and Central European comfort food in Etobicoke, with a menu built around pierogies, schnitzel, cabbage rolls, and beef goulash. The restaurant presents itself as a family-friendly spot for lunch and dinner that has been part of the neighbourhood for over a decade.

Kovalsky traditionally boils its pierogies, following Polish custom. In September 2026 the restaurant polled customers on Instagram about adding a pan-fried option, so it is worth asking what is available when you visit.

Customer favorites include pierogies with potato, cheese and bacon, beef goulash with potato dumplings, and hunter schnitzel with mushrooms. Potato pancakes topped with goulash, coleslaw salad with cabbage roll, and chicken noodle soup round out the comfort-food lineup.
