Avelo is a plant-based fine dining restaurant in a heritage townhouse on a quiet Yorkville street. Everything on the menu is vegan, with no dairy, eggs, meat, or other animal products used.

Avelo hosts two dinner seatings per evening, at 5:00 to 6:15 PM and 7:45 to 8:30 PM. Guests choose between a 5-course or an 8-course tasting menu built around seasonal ingredients, and the menu changes daily.

The 5-course tasting menu is 70 dollars per person Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, and 85 dollars Friday and Saturday. The 8-course menu is 115 dollars Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, and 135 dollars Friday and Saturday, and is only offered at the second seating.

Yes, Avelo can accommodate a wide range of dietary restrictions, including gluten-free, nut-free, and alcohol-free needs, with at least 48 hours notice. The kitchen never uses peanuts, though many dishes contain other nuts.

Bar Avelo is the cocktail bar upstairs in the same heritage building, with an arched Victorian-style ceiling. It serves classic and creative cocktails plus an internationally inspired plant-based tapas menu with items like lion's mane mushrooms and house-made vegan cheeses.
